From the day my daughter, Ellen, was born, I entrusted Jim to take her
portrait. He has been able to capture her personality and who she is from
the very start. I have been proud to share his work with my family and
friends. I plan to continue using him in the years to come. I would highly
recommend him to anyone that wants more than just another baby picture. Jim
creates portraits that are works of art that any parent would be proud to
own.

Jim has photographed all of my
children several times, and he always seems to be able to show their true
personalities in each portrait. During one particular session my son Landon
didn’t seem to want to sit still and cooperate, but Jim was patient with us.
He let Landon play a little, and he patiently waited for opportunities to
capture an expression that I could cherish forever. In fact, he took so many
pictures that I loved, I had to narrow down my choices to only 9 pictures
for Jim to put in a 9 panel frame for me. I think I would be hard pressed to
find someone with the patience and great service he always gives me.

photographers after the birth of my son. JB Focus Photography's baby panel
stood out. What a great way to capture the physical development of your
child over his or her first year. What I didn't know at the time is
that Jim creates something much more special. He not only captured the
beauty of my son through "mother's eyes," but managed to show his
blossoming personality as well.
Jim was patient, flexible, and creative with our quirky requests. He is
truly an artist. My only regret is that I didn't hear about JB Focus
Photography for the mother infant session. We won't miss it with baby #2.

past two years. What amazes us about your photography is that you are
able to capture the personalities of our boys. We have so much fun
running around your outdoor studio taking pictures of Parker doing the
